| The gallery is a listed building, dating
back to the 17th Century. With its stone fireplace, oak beams and
panelling, it provides a perfect backdrop for the beautiful paintings which
adorn the walls.
A working gallery, the atmosphere is nostalgic: evoked partly by the artist Anthony J. Avery working at his easel, and partly by the historic setting. |

Anthony's two unique series of paintings - the Romany Collection and the Painted Lady Collection - are widely sought after. Come to the Man of Ross Gallery and see these pictures for yourself! Or check the Other Galleries page to see if Anthony's works can be seen near your location.
Located in the centre of the picturesque Herefordshire town of Ross-on-Wye, the gallery is easy to find - just opposite the Tourist Information Centre. If you would like a map, please click here. The gallery is normally open 11am - 6pm every day (except Sundays). Please phone to check these times if you are travelling some distance to visit.
